SCULPTURE WORK

DYSFUNCTIONAL ROOM

above: full view of the installation layout

The Dysfunctional Room is an installation rooted in my experience with memory loss, a side effect of long-term Adderall use for ADHD treatment. This room is intentionally designed to be dysfunctional, with each element subtly altered to feel "off." It symbolizes how the brain only recalls fragments of memories, leaving gaps in the finer details. The installation primarily features handmade pieces, including pillows, a ceramic mug, and its centerpiece—the table, which draws attention as the focal point of the space.

BAG #1 (2024)

Organically shaped soft sculpture made to look like a bag; real bag drafting and sewing in progress. Inspired initially by human form and the human neccesity to put up a wall of defense. Made using two contrasting gingham fabrics.
